King Arms - Carbine Clubfoot Stock |
Written by Wedge | |||
Manufacturer: King Arms (Hong Kong)
The King Arms Carbine MOD stock is a copy of the VLTOR Weapon Systems M4/AR stock.
The King Arms stock is a good copy of its real steel counter part. The stock is very straight forward to install. Comes with all the hardware needed to install. It has a bit of wobble when its on there. King Arms also provides its own buffer tube to fit a custom 9.6v 1400mah nimh battery which is included. The buffer tube has numbered markings on the tube to indicate the stock position. Note: Your M4/M16's buffer tubes slot on the receiver needs to be "cut down" to use the battery included with the stock.
I decided to pick this stock up and run a smaller battery due to the huge amount of unwanted realestate on the classic army crane stock. It dropped the weight a few ounces. I couldn't complain and it added a little bit charracter to my aeg.
Also included in the box are two replacement side saddles. They are streamline to the stock. So if you are not running a battery in the back you can choose to mount either the traditional side saddles (which store the battery) or mount the more streamline side saddles, depending on your cheek comfortability. If you have your aeg wired else where, the stock can hold CR 123a batteries with the battery saddles mounted on.
